Keeping GSM-R networks free from public networks interference

High Gain Narrow Beam VEGA Antennas Do the Job

Unwanted emission from public mobile network systems leaking into the GSM-R system is an issue faced by increasingly more GSM-R networks.

Using very high gain (23 dBi) very narrow beam (11.5°) X-pole VEGA CC-12 antennas that provide a stronger signal while reducing   interference is a sure solution.

Due to its having higher gain than common antennas, the signal is stronger along much longer sections of the rail.

At the same time, VEGA's very narrow beam both in azimuth and elevation acts as a filter, thus reducing the strong wideband interferences caused by public mobile radio networks.

In many situations, use of VEGA antennas can save on the number of base stations needed along a given length of track while providing much better QOS and availability.
